Biskupská kupa
Enjoy the view of the surrounding mountain landscape from Biskupská kupa, which is located on the Czech-Polish border. You can go up it directly from the center of Zlaté Hory from the main signpost in front of the museum building, or head straight up the hill from Hotel Praděd Thamm.
There is a green hiking trail approximately 4 km long, with an elevation gain of around 450 meters. On the way you can admire the chapel of St. Rocha and Mnichův Rock, which is a relatively large rock located on the slope of Biskupská kupa.
At the top, you can look forward to a 19-meter high brick lookout tower with a viewing platform. If you decide to visit it, you have to climb a total of 90 wooden steps. As a reward, you will have a breathtaking view of flat Poland, Zlaté Hory and the ridges of Hrubý Jeseník. With very good visibility, you can also see Wrocław and even the highest peaks of the High Tatras.
