Educational Trail Rejvíz

The Rejvíz Educational Trail begins in the mountain village of Rejvíz, which is part of the Zlaté Hory. It measures approximately 3 kilometers and offers 5 stops with information boards about the main attractions of this location. At the same time, it leads to the very center of the largest Moravian peatland to the Great Mossy Lake.

The route starts at the Rejvíz guesthouse, where you connect to the yellow hiking trail leading towards the Bublavý stream. At the third stop, entrance to the reserve awaits you, where a symbolic fee is collected for the maintenance of the trail.

From this point you will continue on the wooden roof walkways along the blue hiking trail to the Great Moss Lake. This is one of the largest peat lakes in the Czech Republic – it boasts an area of 1,692 m² and a maximum depth of 2.95 m. At the lake itself, there is a wooden viewing platform and a gazebo where you can relax.
