How it started or a little history…
Mr. Franz Thamm was the very first owner of our hotel. History says that he was an enthusiastic lover of fine food and drink. He traded in Austrian wines, and his son Eduard was the distiller of the popular grain schnapps.
During the renovation of our hotel, we discovered interesting treasures. After demolishing one of the walls, we saw something unexpected – a secret door. We had no idea where they were going, because according to the hotel’s plans, no more rooms were supposed to be there. After opening them, we got a glimpse of an extensive collection of old dusty rum barrels. At that time, we concluded that Mr. Thamm probably also liked this distillate, because he knew how to appreciate quality products. We thought about how to deal with them and finally decided to share them with you.
Come to us to “switch off” for a while, taste the exotic in the form of one of our rums, or just sit with friends over a glass of great beer.

Enjoy quality rum in the interior or on the renovated summer terrace, on colder days we have powerful heaters!
